Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using MenuKa you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What MenuKa does — and its limits

MenuKa uses AI to read, translate and explain restaurant menus. Results can be wrong or incomplete, including dish names, ingredients, allergen tags, calorie estimates, prices and currency conversions. Always confirm allergens, dietary requirements and prices with the restaurant staff. Do not rely on MenuKa for medical or safety decisions.

3. Free use and MenuKa Pro

Two free scans are included each day. In the iOS app, MenuKa Pro is offered as a one-time 7-day pass, an auto-renewing monthly subscription with a 3-day trial, and a one-time lifetime purchase. On the web, the 7-day and 30-day passes and lifetime purchase are one-time payments. Web and iOS purchases are managed separately. Local prices are shown before you buy.

4. Subscriptions

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse engineering, automated scraping, circumventing usage limits, or uploading unlawful content or photos of people without their consent.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design and content are owned by us or our licensors. You keep the rights to the photos you take.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

8. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where these Terms are silent.

9. Changes and contact
